Career Pathways

After completing the BSB41415 Certificate IV in WHS you may decide to further your training with a Certificate and/or Diploma in Building & Construction.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or older and competent in both written and spoken English. Numeracy, literacy and language will be evaluated as part of the overall enrolment process.


Our Certificate IV course run for 26 weeks. We know that location is important so we have classes that are close to home and work, give us a call and ask us about the closest course to you.


Virtual Classroom (Online)

Students login to a virtual classroom environment at set class times from their homes or offices or any other location where they can access the internet via their laptop or PC with a microphone and camera. Trainers deliver each session live and interactively via video educational specialist conferencing software (GoToTraining) with students interacting live with other students and the Trainer. Each session is recorded with students able to go back in at a later date and re-watch sections of interest.


For those living in Victoria this course will be delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.  If you aren’t eligible for funding, you can still enrol in the course as a full fee paying student. We have several payment options available. You can view our fees here.

Assessment Methods

The course is delivered with both theory and practical elements, with a mixture of classroom, group discussions, and individual research (including online study) supported by workplace mentoring by your workplace supervisor (if applicable).

Assessments are designed to evaluate your skills and knowledge compared against the training course qualification requirements and industry standards. The assessment process will involve written and practical presentations, classroom participation and observation. It will also require students to conduct training away from the classroom setting both online and throughout the ongoing development of their portfolio of evidence.
