CUV40311 Certificate IV in Design (Interior space) is applicable for people hoping to become decorators or interior designers employed in the area of shop/office design, property development, and property sales. The course content covers both the theory and history of design and is constructed to cover a range of specialised topics in a simulated office environment. This will allow students to interpret design briefs, research, organise information and quotes in a setting very similar to a real world scenario.

We require that you are over 18 years of age and are competent in written and spoken English (language, literacy and numeracy will be assessed as part of the enrolment process).

The course is delivered through both practical and theory components, using a mixture of individual research (including online study), classroom group discussions, and development of projects to apply the skills and knowledge developed.

This process will include observation, practical and written presentations as well as classroom participation. Students will have to complete some self-paced exercises and assignments online in their own time and as they develop their portfolio of evidence.
